Integrated Qualifications Register (IQR)

What is the Integrated Qualifications Register? What is its role in the Integrated Qualifications System? And why is it important to know this when using the My Portfolio tool?

The Integrated Qualifications Register (IQR) is a public register that collects information about qualifications awarded in Poland.

The register includes qualifications obtained within the education or higher education system (full qualifications – school leaving certificate, diploma; and, partial qualifications – awarded within vocational education and postgraduate studies), as well as partial qualifications awarded outside of the school and higher education systems (regulated qualifications, market and sectoral qualifications – awarded by businesses, industry associations, training institutions – e.g., the qualification “Bicycle repair, maintenance and upgrading”). The IQR indicates which specific requirements must be met in order to obtain a given qualification and which institutions have the authority to award them.

Equally important, if we do not want to name competences ourselves when using My Portfolio, the IQR database can be helpful in obtaining the necessary information.
